How to Make Small Eyes Look Bigger with a Makeup

Our eyes are said to be the windows of our soul. That is why making our eyes look good is very important because it usually reflect our inner selves. Proper care and make up will surely help enhance the look you want to achieve with your eyes. While some want their eyes to look smaller, some preferred to have a wide-eyed effect. This can be achieved by following several steps and tips in applying make up.

Materials needed:

·  Eyeliner

·  Light eyeshadow

·  Dark eyeshadow

Eye shadow brush

·  Mascara

·  Eye lash curler/False eyelashes

Steps to perform to make eyes look bigger:

1.      Ease eye puffiness. Your eyes may look smaller if swelling and puffiness are observed around your eyes.

2.      Tidy up your eyebrows. Shape it up and remove some stray hairs. Your eyebrows can affect the way your eyes appear. However, don’t assume that the thinner your eyebrows are, the bigger your eyes will look. That’s a wrong notion.

3.      Get a hold of your eyeliner. Apply eyeliner on the outer rim of your eyelids carefully. Make sure not to include the inner rim. Also, don’t apply all the way around your eyes because it will make your eyes look smaller. This step is very tricky; more practice is needed to achieve a perfect line. Even then the line by blending it with acotton swabs. Refrain from drawing eyeliner in the inner corner or canthus of your eye, rather start at the point where eyelash growth begins or even a little closer to the middle of your eye

4.      You may extend your eyeliner up to the outer corners of your eyes. Extend the line by drawing it upward a little. This will have a wide-eye effect on your eyes. Just make sure that it must be done symmetrically to avoid a lopsided look for your eyes.

1. Use your eye shadow properly. Apply a light shade of eye shadow at the upper lid up to your brow. This will help to open your eyes. Use then a darker shade of eye shadow in the folds of your eyes.
2. Now, attend to your eyelashes. Curl your eyelashes by making use of an eyelash curler and mascara. Eye lash curler must be used first before applying mascara. This will have a lengthening effect on your eyelash. You can also opt for false eye lashes to have a wide-eyed and innocent effect. Just see to it that the ones you used are natural-looking and not an obvious false eye lash.

Special considerations:

If brown mascara will not bring out your eyes, try using the black one.

If you are using pencil mascara, chill it in the refrigerator first before sharpening it.

Contact lenses that are circle are usually not available in America but are mostly offered in some Asian countries. Wearing this type of contact lens will enhance the size and shape of your iris.

If you are using liquid eyeliner, make sure to let it dry before opening your eyes to avoid   smudging and to have a clean line.
