How to be a Femme Fatale

Seductive, mysterious, irresistibly desirable and dangerous – these are some of the characters that a woman has as we describe her as Femme Fatale.  Modern Femme Fatale is characterized by vampires, enchantress, and even comic book characters like Catwoman and Mystique just to name a few. 

The literal meaning of this phrase is French for “fatal woman”.  By using her feminine strengths such as sexual allure, she can manipulate anyone.  In movies, this character is used as a secret weapon for infiltrating syndicate turfs in order to gain access or information about the said group or a woman having vengeance for the trauma she experienced from the past.  However, this can also be described as an uplifting motivation to women who are feeling depressed after a bad break-up. 

Things You Need:

1.   Make up – ‘Cat’s eye’ eyeliner, dark red lipstick (preferably maroon), and pale foundation.

2.   Outfit – wear dark, retro, and sexy clothes.  May it be tight leather spandex but not too gothic.

3.   Accessories – Dangling earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.

4.   Perfume – you must wear your signature perfume

5.   Hair Style – dramatically short hair can do the trick and also the choice of color of your hair.

1.   First, you must know how to speak seductively.  This can allure anyone especially men because it is a music to their ears when they hear sexy voice. Your voice must be low but not too creepy-low, but in an attractive way.  And then practice on it so that you will make it a usual thing.

2.   In choosing clothes, stick to colors like emerald green, maroon, and black.  A cocktail dress is a good example for this.  You can also wear fishnet tights where you are exposing your curves.

Tip: make sure your jewelries goes along with your outfit.

3.   Try to hang out in an interesting and unusual place.  It may be a unique antique shop or an artsy coffee shop.  Some place that you haven’t gone which is not scary but obscure.

4.   Have a good time with the guys but still holding on your own.  Joining them in their usual activities like playing poker or pool and seldom winning.  This is just to earn their respect.

Tip: hanging out with them doesn’t mean that you need to lose your feminine side.  Just enjoy their company.

5.   You must maintain your composure by not letting anyone know what you are thinking.  By being mysterious, you are alluring them more.
