By

After you have made your own wine, you would probably need to come up with your very own personalized wine label. There is nothing more special than to have made your own wine, and personally designed its label. All you have to do is to flare up that imagination, and with the help of some tools, you’ll surely come up with your very own special wine label.

What you’ll need

Creating your own wine label is not really a difficult thing to do. What you’ll need is a computer, colored printer, special software like Photoshop, paper (specialty paper would make a great wine label), adhesive tape or glue, paper cutter or scissors, and a lot of creativity in order to come up with your very own special wine label.

If you want your wine label hand made, you just need a paper, colored pens, adhesive tape or glue, paper cutter or scissors, and you’re one step in making your special handmade wine label.

Steps

1.       Using the special software in your computer, harness that artist within you and start designing your wine label. There are a variety of stock clip arts and pictures in the software available for you. For the texts, there are a lot of fonts to choose from, you just have to pick what you like.

2.       To save paper, you can create three to four labels using a single page of specialty paper. You just design one, then copy and paste it.

3.       If you prefer your wine label handmade, using your colored pens, directly draw to your specialty paper the design you want to appear in your wine label. You just have to put your imagination and creativity to work, in order to create your special handmade wine label.

4.       If you can’t choose among the available pictures and clip arts in the software, you can always download a picture of your choosing from the internet. You just have to make sure that the photo you selected is not copyright protected.

5.       After you have come up with your design, print it out using the colored printer.

6.       Cut the labels according to sizes with your paper cutter or a pair of scissors. Remember; always be careful in handling these tools.

7.       Using the adhesive tape, or glue, adhere your label to the wine bottle, and there you have it! Your very own personalized wine label!
